Installation Inspector(s)

Locations:

  • Ft. McMurray, Alberta, Canada
  • Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Duties:

  • Installation inspection of pressure vessels/piping systems to ensure compliance with design criteria, jurisdictional requirements, and code requirements.
  • Quality control to ensure construction procedures have been adhered to.
  • Maintaining and updating client records.

Term of Project:

  • Minimum six month commitment required.
  • Project expected to last upwards of one year or more.
  • Potential for a permanent position on the integrity management team once the facility has been commissioned.

Qualifications:

  • API 510 as a minimum
  • Three years experience inspecting new/in-service pressure equipment.
  • API 570 and/or API 653 would be beneficial.
  • All Levels - CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Welding Inspector would be an asset.
  • Active pursuit of local jurisdictional certification(s) as a pressure equipment inspector (ex. ABSA's Pressure equipment inspector).

Personnel Requirements:

  • One inspector immediately.




Non-Destructive Testing Personnel

Locations:

  • Ft. McMurray, Alberta, Canada
  • Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
  • Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada
  • Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada
  • Lloydminister, Alberta, Canada
  • Red Deer, Alberta, Canada

Duties:

  • Perform UT, RT, MT, or LP inspections on new and in-service equipment throughout Western Canada.
  • Assist In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspectors with integrity assessments of various types of equipment.
  • Ensure client needs are satisfied in an expedient and satisfactory manner.
  • Oversee/coordinate junior NDE personnel.

Term of Project:

  • Permanent

Qualifications:

  • CGSB UT 2, RT 2, MT 2, or LP 2 as a minimum
  • Experience with advanced NDE an asset.
  • Ability to travel.
  • All Levels - CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Welding Inspector certification would be beneficial.
  • Self motivated with a strong desire to continuously upgrade your professional skills and credentialsli>
  • Responsible and able to work under minimum supervision.

Personnel Requirements:





Quality Assurance/Quality Control Personnel

Locations:

  • Ft. McMurray, Alberta, Canada
  • Ft. Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada

Duties:

  • Ensure construction of oil/gas facilities is performed in accordance with the client's engineering specifications.
  • Supervise welders, pipefitters, insulators, and other trades involved in construction.
  • Inspect welding for quality and compliance with welding procedures.
  • Coordinate NDE personnel.
  • Verify materials of construction are as specified.
  • Perform inspections of equipment after construction to verify it has been properly erected.

Term of Project:

  • Varied (Short and Long Term)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Ability to review weld procedures, ensure welders perform welding in accordance with those procedures, and evaluate welds for quality and acceptibility.
  • Good organizational and computer skills.
  • Experience with welding or NDE an asset.
  • Must be willing to travel.

Field Inspector(s)

Locations:

  • Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada

Duties:

  • Installation inspection of pressure vessels/piping systems to ensure compliance with design criteria, jurisdictional requirements, and code requirements.
  • In-service inspections of client facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct NDE (CGSB) if certified in applicable method.
  • Ensure client needs are satisfied in an expedient and satisfactory manner.
  • Oversee junior inspectors and NDE personnel working from satellite office.

Term of Project:

  • Six month and longer (but not permanent) would be acceptable.
  • Permanent

Qualifications:

  • API 510 as a minimum
  • Three years experience inspecting new/in-service pressure equipment.
  • API 570 and/or API 653 would be beneficial.
  • All Levels - CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Welding Inspector certification would be an asset.
  • Active pursuit of local jurisdictional certification(s) as a pressure equipment inspector (ex. ABSA's Pressure equipment inspector).
  • Active pursuit of CGSB certification in ultrasonics and other NDE methods.
